PRETORIA – The testimony of KwaZulu-Natal Hawks head Major-General Leseja Senona before the Madlanga Commission has been postponed after a member of his legal team fell ill. A new date for his appearance has not yet been announced.
Meanwhile, Hawks Counter Narcotics Unit member Gavin Jacob has concluded his testimony before the commission. Jacob faced questioning over the handling of drugs valued at about R200 million that were stored at a Hawks facility in KwaZulu-Natal and admitted that proper protocols were not followed during the handling of the drugs.
