NORTH WEST- Deputy Minister in the Presidency Kenny Morolong visited Taung in the North West, where he handed over school shoes to learners as part of ongoing government outreach programmes. The initiative forms part of efforts to support communities while strengthening the relationship between government and residents.
During his engagement, Morolong emphasised improving access to government information and services, especially in rural areas. He also highlighted the importance of community media in closing information gaps and called for stronger support for local platforms, saying communication should remain people-centred and accessible to all communities.
