Pirates benefited from two costly own-goal mistakes by Orbit College, with Sabelo Nkomo accidentally punching the ball into his own net before Ndumiso Ngiba lobbed his goalkeeper while trying to stop a Pirates attack. Orbit College’s defeat confirmed their automatic relegation to the Motsepe Foundation Championship, while Magesi avoided the drop by winning their final match and surviving on goal difference.
