VAAL- Deputy Minister in the Presidency Kenny Morolong officially handed over the new studio at Vaal University of Technology in the Vaal, highlighting government’s commitment to strengthening student and community media. The project forms part of the Media Development and Diversity Agency’s efforts to modernise broadcasting infrastructure across the country.
Morolong said upgraded media facilities help develop broadcasting skills, promote freedom of expression and create opportunities for young content creators. The new studio is expected to improve practical training for journalism and media students while enhancing radio and multimedia production at the institution.
