CAPE TOWN- Minister of Higher Education and Training, Buti Manamela, will present the Department’s Budget Vote Speech in Parliament on 26 May 2026 at 10:00 in Cape Town. Deputy Ministers Dr Mimmy Gondwe and Dr Nomusa Dube-Ncube will take part in the debate following the speech.
The address will outline the department’s priorities for the 2026/27 financial year, including universities, TVET and CET colleges, student funding, skills development, and the broader skills revolution agenda.
