KWAZULU-NATAL- President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to officially open the 2026 Africa Travel Indaba in Durban today, one of the continent’s biggest tourism marketing events. The Indaba showcases a wide range of African tourism products and aims to promote travel and investment across the continent.
Some African delegates had raised safety concerns following recent anti-illegal immigration marches in Durban. Tourism Minister Patricia de Lille says the concerns have been addressed, assuring that security measures are in place and all attending countries remain committed to participating in the event.
