EKURHULENI- Residents in several parts of Ekurhuleni are calling for urgent intervention in the municipality, citing poor service delivery, corruption allegations and weak governance. Community members say ongoing financial mismanagement and leadership failures have left many areas neglected and residents frustrated.
Locals from Gosforth Park say there is “rot” within the municipality and believe the wrong people are occupying key positions. Residents are demanding a restructuring of leadership and accountability from officials, warning that if conditions do not improve, communities should be employed to help clean and maintain their own areas.
