TSHWANE- Nasiphi Moya has accepted her nomination as ActionSA’s mayoral candidate for Tshwane, saying she is ready to serve and asking residents to support her for another five years. In her speech, she reflected on her rural upbringing in the Eastern Cape, where she grew up herding livestock and helping her family run a small spaza shop under difficult conditions.
Moya said her background shaped her belief that government must create opportunities for people to escape poverty. She stressed that education changed her life and influenced her leadership values. However, she also emphasised that rebuilding Tshwane cannot be done by one leader alone, calling for cooperation between residents, government, businesses, and investors to restore the city.
