GAUTENG- A new anti-bullying campaign in Gauteng is calling on learners to speak out against bullying, sexual harassment and violence in schools. The initiative highlights the urgent need to create safe and supportive learning environments, stressing that no learner should feel threatened or unsafe while pursuing their education. It reinforces the message that respect, dignity and protection are essential for academic success.

Learners are encouraged to report incidents anonymously through platforms such as Childline (116), SADAG (0800 567 567), and school Anti-Bullying Boxes. The campaign promotes collective responsibility, urging both victims and witnesses to take action. Supported by hashtags like #StopBullying and #ReportBullying, the initiative aims to strengthen awareness and ensure schools remain safe spaces for all.
