ATTERIDGEVILLE- The Gauteng Provincial Legislature, together with the Consulate General of China in Johannesburg and Reamogetswe Khaya Disability & Outreach, will host a Cerebral Palsy Awareness Walk and wheelchair donation programme on 6 May 2026 in Atteridgeville, Tshwane. The initiative aims to raise awareness about cerebral palsy, promote disability inclusion, and support affected individuals through advocacy and community engagement.

As part of the programme, 50 food hampers will be donated by the Gauteng Provincial Legislature, while wheelchairs from the Chinese Consulate will support mobility and dignity for beneficiaries. The event will also feature health services, educational workshops, panel discussions, and personal testimonies from caregivers and people living with cerebral palsy to strengthen public understanding and disability rights.
