MALMESBURY- Western Cape Mobility Minister Isaac Sileku has welcomed new service improvements by the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) on the Malmesbury rail line, which will begin on Monday. The upgrades are aimed at improving travel times and making train schedules more reliable for commuters.

A key change includes an express service through Eikenfontein Station to ease overcrowding and improve efficiency. Sileku said the improvements form part of efforts to restore passenger rail as a key transport system in the province, with continued monitoring to ensure better service delivery for residents.
