UKRAINE AND RUSSIA- At least seven people have been killed in overnight Russian strikes across Ukraine, including five in the central city of Dnipro, where an apartment building was hit. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the attack lasted “practically all night,” while rescue teams continued searching for survivors under rubble on Saturday morning.

Elsewhere, Russian missiles and drones struck Chernihiv, Odesa and Kharkiv, killing two more people and causing widespread damage. Ukraine also reported long-range drone operations deep inside Russia, including strikes in Yekaterinburg, where six people were injured, and attempted attacks near Chelyabinsk that were intercepted. British jets were scrambled from Romania during the assault due to nearby drone activity, though UK officials denied claims that British forces shot any down.
