Emfuleni Local Municipality has announced a scheduled water supply interruption to facilitate urgent repairs on a 300mm main pipeline located near Prakash Street. The planned shutdown will affect residents in Sonland Park, Falconridge, Roshnee, Rustervaal, Helenasrus, as well as surrounding agricultural holdings. Water supply is expected to be suspended on Wednesday, 15 April 2026, from 09:00 to 16:00.
The municipality has advised affected residents to make necessary arrangements by storing water for essential use during the outage. It has also issued an apology for the inconvenience caused and urged the public to use water sparingly.
