Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou says his team will continue fighting for the league title despite dropping crucial points. This comes after Pirates were held to a 2-2 draw by Richards Bay, a result that left them just one point behind league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns. Sundowns have 56 points from 23 matches, while Pirates sit on 55 points after 24 matches.
Ouaddou admitted that dropping points in key matches has made the title race more difficult, but insisted that his side still has a chance. He said that although the situation is challenging, nothing is impossible and Pirates still have a “small chance to dream” as they push to close the gap on Sundowns in the remaining fixtures.
