The Democratic Alliance is set to elect new leadership on the second day of its Federal Congress, taking place at the Gallagher Convention Centre. More than 2,000 delegates are expected to vote for key positions, including the party’s federal leader, chairperson, and three deputy chairpersons, while also finalising policy positions within the context of the Government of National Unity.
On the first day of the congress, the party adopted several policy proposals, including measures to promote fair job opportunities for people over 35, address the impact of online gambling, and introduce vaping regulations to better protect teenagers.
