Mamelodi Sundowns will face Esperance in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semi-final in Tunis, Morocco, this weekend. The South African champions are already in Tunisia ahead of Sunday evening’s clash at 21h00.

Esperance, four-time winners of the competition, bring strong continental experience into the fixture, while Sundowns will rely on their own pedigree and the knowledge of coach Miguel Cardoso, who previously worked with the Tunisian side. Historically, Esperance have had the upper hand in meetings between the two teams, but Sundowns will be aiming to change that record.
