The Emfuleni Local Municipality has issued a public notice of an emergency water supply interruption in the Vereeniging area. The disruption is due to Rand Water maintenance work to replace a faulty magnetic flow meter in Ring Road East.
Residents in Duncanville, Arcon Park, Three Rivers, and Risiville are advised that water supply will be cut from Saturday, 11 April 2026, at 18:00 until Sunday, 12 April 2026, at 06:00. Affected consumers are urged to collect water for essential use during this period. The municipality apologizes for the inconvenience and encourages residents to use water sparingly.
