Mpumalanga authorities have impounded nearly 1,000 vehicles for various traffic law violations, according to Public Works, Roads and Transport MEC Thulasizwe Thomo. The announcement came during a roadblock operation on the N4 toll road near Mbombela.
MEC Thomo urged motorists to follow traffic rules, emphasizing road safety after a recent fatal crash on the N2 near Piet Retief. The operation highlights the province’s efforts to reduce accidents and enforce compliance with traffic regulations.
