The Border Management Authority (BMA) has confirmed that a bus intercepted in the Free State was properly processed at the Beitbridge Port of Entry. Commissioner Michael Masiapato said all 43 passengers were screened, and their documents were verified and found to be valid.

The BMA believes additional undocumented passengers may have boarded the bus after it left the port, as it was reportedly overloaded when stopped. The authority has warned transport operators against carrying undocumented individuals, stressing that strict border security measures remain in place.
