Cape Town police said they were investigating the murder of a Mitchells Plain teen who started matric this week.
The 18-year-old was killed in a gun attack in Eastridge on Thursday.
He sustained several bullet wounds.
“Police members attended a complaint on Thursday, upon arrival…they found a body of an 18-year-old male who sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The unknown suspects fled the scene and are yet to be arrested,” said the police’s Joseph Swartbooi.
