EMFULENI – Seven suspects arrested in connection with alleged fraud, theft and tampering with essential infrastructure at Emfuleni Local Municipality are expected to appear in the Vanderbijlpark Magistrate’s Court on Monday. Five were arrested on Friday, while two more were arrested on Sunday.
Two of the suspects are municipal employees from the Revenue and Electricity Department. Police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe says the arrests bring the total number of suspects linked to the investigation to seven.
