Vereeniging – A gang with weapons jumped in the school yard at General Smuts High School. This is the third day teaching and learning at this school gets disturbed.  The school has been in the spotlight for the past few days due to bullying and other disheartening activities. It is alleged that the school is a hub of bullying, and drugs.  parents urge Principal to step down as he is failing to bring stability to the school.
The gang did not accomplish its mission as the taxi association in Vereeniging nabbed them before they could begin with their mischiefs.

The taxi drivers in Vereeniging have taken the crime combating into their own hands, working together with the SAPS ofcourse, this initiative has started in July 2021 during the looting that was taking place in most parts of Vaal and have since continued to fight all illegal activities in the CBD.
